The Beech Creek tour was held Friday, April 23, 2010. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success!
One hundred students from the Mount Nittany Middle School in State College visited water treatment ponds under construction in the Jonathan Run watershed, used water testing kits and investigated benthic macroinvertebrates. Hosting the tour were representatives from Trout Unlimited, Beech Creek Watershed Association, Centre County Conservation District, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Three Points Sportsmen's Club and GAI Consultants.
