Aquatic Invasive Species of Concern for Kettle Creek Watershed
The following 8 species have been identified as species of concern for Kettle Creek Watershed. These species were selected due to either the proximity of infected waters, the potential for large scale impacts to the watershed, or their presents in streams where people are known to fish and then travel to Kettle Creek.
Currently, Kettle Creek has no major aquatic invasive species (AIS). If they were to be introduced and become established would be nearly impossible to remove them. For this reason preventing their spread is vital to protecting the health and well being of Kettle Creek.
